Not always. In some cases, laser removal sessions widen the possibilities, but many cover-ups are done directly, with no laser at all. We assess together what makes sense.

It depends on size and complexity. Smaller cover-ups can be finished in a single session; larger projects may need 2 or more, with healing time in between.
