Before you start
Can any tattoo be covered?
Most of them can, but every case is different. Very saturated or very dark tattoos, or tattoos on difficult skin areas, have limitations. That is why I always look at a photo before giving you an honest answer about what is possible in your case.
Does a cover-up have to be dark or large?
No. That is exactly my specialty: cover-ups that don't have to be heavy. With the right planning of composition, placement and saturation, it is possible to create something delicate and light even over an old tattoo.
Do I need laser removal first?
Not always. In some cases, laser removal sessions widen the possibilities, but many cover-ups are done directly, with no laser at all. We assess together what makes sense.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on size and complexity. Smaller cover-ups can be finished in a single session; larger projects may need 2 or more, with healing time in between.
Can you cover a name or an ex's tattoo?
